During the course of exploration, some potsherds and antiquities collected, which consists of typical sprinkler of Kushna variety, a small bowl, bases of bowls, bases of vase, red polished ware; coursed red ware and a brick cube. The archaeological vestige found shows that this piece of land once inhabited by the Satavahana and Vakataka, when the caves were in religious use. A systematic exploration may throw more light on caves, which may help to co-relate the caves with Archaeological vestige or a digging in very much essential to ascertain the importance of the site.

P.C. Chaudhari, V.D. Jadhav, and D.T. Asar carried out exploration of Hingona Sim, Hingona Khurd and varsus. All these sites were previously identified as proto-historic, yielding pottery of late Harappan and Jorwe culture. While at Hingona Sim and Hingona Khurd habitation mounds could not be noticed, at Varsus, a huge low mound roughly measuring 500 m x 500 m was noticed. The mound is located on the left bank of river Buri a tributary or river Tapti. The pottery finds include that of Malwa, Jorwe and early historical period.

a. A chance discovery of brick pathway on the right bank of Guava River near dam was exposed when the gates of the Jayakwadi dam were opened for releasing surplus water. Several local news papers reported this matter. After noticing the information the site was examined and documented.
The exposed brick pathway like structure is oriented in North-South direction. The exposed pathway measures nearly 3.30 meter in length and 1.6 meter in width consisting of brick at edge in English bond. The bricks are slightly included for better slip. Different sizes of bricks were encountered during survey i.e. 59X29X9 cm, 58X30X9 cm and 60X30X9 cm, etc. The pathway extends unto the flow channel and pieces of the bricks can be seen in to the view. Another brick structure was encountered a the surface a little distance away consisting same bricks standing on length side (vertical), which ruins in North-South orientation. The exposed brick structure measuring nearly 2.1 meter in length and 1.5 meter in width and brick measuring 44X24X5 cm. In the course of exploration a few pot shreds were also noticed the main shapes being Red ware represented dish, vase and miniature pots. These structures are the remains of a pathway datable to Satvahana period (circa 1st C. B. C. to 3rd C. A.D.). +
