The Bhavani temple was originally constructed during Yadava regime and later on the fallen shikhara and roof was reconstructed in late medieval period. The principal shrine houses the images of Mahalaxmi, followed by a spacious antarala attached to a mahamadapa provided with other two shrines dedicated to Laxmi and Bhairavi on both sides and a mukhamandapa in front. The mahamandapa is supported by elegantly and elaborately carved pillars. The outer wall of the shrine is decorated with fine sculptures. The screen wall is embellished with mithuna figures.
