A group of three temples at Kayegaon Toka within a single complex is located at the confluence of Rivers Pravara and Godavari. It comprises Siddeshwar Mahadeva temple, Devi and Vishnu temple and spacious ghats along the river attached to the temple complex. The chief temple dedicated to Siddheshwar Mahadeva appears from a worn out Devanagari inscription at the south gate to have been built in 1767 (Samvat 1823) at a cost of Rs. 93,000 by a Brahman Vishnu Mahadeva Gajre. The temples are built of black basalt and has near it smaller shrines of Vishnu to its right and Devi to the left. A flight of steps leads from the temple to the river. The main temple enshrines shivalinga and sanctum is crowned with simple form of Nagar shikhara. On plan it is provided with antarala and mandapa. The shikhara of mandapa is dome shaped. The outer wall of the temple is decorated with high relief sculptures of the various gods-goddesses described in the Puranas. This is a classic example of stone architecture during the Maratha period.
