Old Temple of Anjaneri

Once a large temple has been now in existence without shikhara. The garbhagriha and mandapa still remains while rest of elements of the temple is missing now. The lavishly carved sculptures on the pillars, doorframes are still in extant while the outer walls are badly damaged due to weathering which were originally bedecked with sculptures. This temple was probably erected during the supremacy of the local Yadava rulers during 850 AD to 1060 AD.
