The temple of Siva comprises shrine, mandapa leading into two subsidiary shrines on two side preceded by an antarala. It is built on a star shaped plan with a large number of off-sets on the exterior walls. The main shrine contains a shivalinga and a nandi. The shrine doorway is profusely decorated with the entablatures with a series of Shaivite deities contained within the pillared canopies. Above the central part of the doorway is the figure of Ganesa is carved. The mandapa has only four free standing pillars on a raised platform. The diamond shaped design is partly visible on the pillars. The ceiling of the mandapa is domical in outline and rises in two descending rings of cusped mouldings. The ceiling of the shrine is less decorated than that of the mandapa, while the ceiling of the porch resembles that of mandapa. The temple is profusely sculptured.
