The Temple of Nagarjun

The Temple of Nagarjun is a rock cut cave comprising small cells, a hall and courtyard. It can be reached through a courtyard supported by two square pillars. Inside the hall have two unfinished pillars almost in the centre. The lower portion of these pillars has carved with seated male and female figurines probably Matanga or Kapardin and Siddhayika or Ambika. The lower portion of back wall is provided with a low height platform placed with three images of the seated Tirthankaras. Inside the hall at left side has three small cells, one at back and one at the right side without any ornamentation.
