The temple dedicated to the godess Durga, locally known as Bhawani. On plan it consists of a square garbhagriha, an elaborate square antarala opening into highly structured mandapa provided with three sub-shrines each on eastern and western walls and two sub shrines each on northern and southern sides. The mandapa is further connected with a rectangular mukhamadapa having shrines on either side of the entrance. The exteriors are embellished with ratha projections, mouldings, decorative patterns and sculptures.
