Temple of Devi and Sambha

This temple on plan consists of a sanctum, a closed mandapa and a mukhamandapa in front. up of somewhat ornamented stone and mortar. The shrine, 9 feet square and 18 feet high now consist of image set in recent period, is approached by three vestibules. The platform and walls of the temple are made of flat and plain blocks of stones and to edge of the same is provided with moulded elements. The celling of the main mandapa is made with ascending circles further decorated with images of the damsels. The porch has decorative pillars and a half screen wall. The dome over mandapa seems to have been of medieval origin.
