The temple consists of a garbhagriha, a front mandapa and a shrine on the west of the mandapa. A Nandi is placed in front of the temple. The temple is built of basalt stone and exterior presents a starkly plain surface devoid of any sculptural embellishment. The temple of Malikarjuna is located at a distance of nearly 50 mtr. North-east of Nakaticha Deul temple another centrally protected monument located at Karjat.
